Jailtime for Kavanaugh witness?

Leland Keyser doesn’t believe her.  That’s what she indicated in her testimony to the FBI.  Keyser is the closest thing Christine Ford has to a credible witness.  Keyser is Ford’s longtime friend and party pal.  Just like Kavanaugh and Judge used to apparently party and gang rape rooms full of women with no witnesses (according to now discredited Julie Swetnick), Leland Keyser and Christine Ford used to go to high school parties and drink just one beer together.

When Ford remembered that she had been assaulted, and then in 2018 remembered that it was Kavanaugh who did it, she named three other people at that party.  She named Kavanaugh’s friends Mark Judge and PJ Smyth, and she named her own lifelong friend Leland Keyser.  Keyser, along with the others, said she had absolutely no knowledge of any party that Ford and Kavanaugh had been together at.  Keyser has now repeated her denial to the FBI.

As we know from the Russian collusion witch hunt, lying to the FBI will get you at least two weeks in jail.

So who do you believe?  Do you believe her? Or her?  It’s no longer Kavanaugh versus Ford.  It’s Keyser versus Ford.  And Leland Keyser has every motive to lie to the FBI in favor of Ford’s testimony.  She didn’t.

In other Kavanaugh news, we have discovered now that he once threw ice at someone in a bar when he was a college student.  So basically this is all moot anyway.  You can’t throw ice at someone when you’re a college student and expect to sit on the Supreme Court.  I mean, that’s just detrimental to his character.  Anyone who is capable of throwing ice at someone in a bar is certainly capable of anything.  He’s simply a loose cannon.  You never know when Kavanaugh might just lose it, take an ice cube from his cup, and chuck it at Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the middle of a trial.  Actually, it’s worth confirming him just to see that.  Although, in her frail health that could kill her.

But I digress.

Apparently, an ex-boyfriend of Christine Ford’s has sent a letter to Congress stating that he witnessed her coaching students on how to beat a polygraph test.  That’s not huge news, considering her polygraph test consisted of two yes or no questions about whether her statements was false or made up.  She wasn’t asked any specific questions about the details of her allegations.

Julie Swetnick’s interview with NBC was a disaster.  Her allegations of Brett Kavanaugh gang raping her have dwindled down to her being assaulted by unknown people, her seeing unknown people waiting outside of rooms to gang rape women (something no one else remembers), and seeing Kavanaugh standing by the punch bowl and handing cups of punch to girls.  Still no witnesses to corroborate her claims.

As expected, Debra Martinez has given the FBI the names of 20 witnesses to contact, interview and add to the investigation.  And of course, it won’t be considered a “thorough” investigation unless they contact all 20.  My question is if she was playing a drinking game with Kavanaugh and one other in a room by themselves, what were these 20 witnesses supposed to have witnessed?

Let’s stop pretending this is something it isn’t.  Democrats are delaying and praying that they will flip two Republicans.  But they have their own members to worry about too.  Chris Coons, who negotiated the one week FBI investigation with flakey Flake did not sign a Democrat letter to Grassley demanding an additional 24 irrelevant and time consuming interviews for the FBI to include.  Democrat Joe Manchin of West Virginia has not committed to a vote either way.  He is facing a tough re-election bid in a conservative state.  Democrats may be starting to see how much their overreach is damaging their image.  In Florida the polls have tightened to a tie between Nelson and Scott.  Nelson, taking his orders from Schumer, didn’t even bother to interview Kavanaugh and declared a no vote before Trump even made the selection.

Democrats deserve to be punished at the polls in November.  They have literally ruined lives and set an incredibly dangerous precedent in these confirmation hearings.  Kavanaugh should be confirmed, if nothing else than to declare that this sort of circus is not how America works.  Feinstein should be censured for creating this circus, and Corey Booker should resign simply to save Democrats from the “obvious hypocrite” reputation they have earned.  When the founding fathers wrote the words “advise and consent”, I doubt they had this sort of circus in mind.

Pro-abortion Democrats in pro-life states keep the abortion agenda alive

Every Democrat votes to block pro-life measures.  When it comes to the Senate, every single Democrat is in lock step with Chuck Schumer’s pro-abortion agenda.  Yet this fact of life seems to get little attention.  Most recently, Senator Rand Paul, a pro-life Republican from Kentucky lashed out at his fellow Republicans after the failure of a measure to defund Planned Parenthood.  The measure would have needed 60 votes to pass, and two pro-choice Republicans voted against it.  No Democrats voted to stop taxpayer funding of the abortion giant.

The United States is beyond only North Korea and China when it comes to our permissiveness with abortion.  A measure earlier this year to join nearly all of Europe in banning abortions after 20 weeks, when the baby feels pain, was defeated on party lines.  The United States is radically pro-abortion when it comes to federal policy.

So why don’t we talk about pro-abortion Democrats in pro-life states?  Let’s start with the liars.  Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.  All three claim to be pro-life.  All three have failed to stand up for their supposed   They have voted to keep funding abortion giant Planned Parenthood or skipped votes altogether.  Bob Casey got a 100% score from NARAL for his pro-abortion voting record.  While all three voted to join Europe in banning abortion after 20 weeks, they were the only Democrats to do so and the vote was meaningless without more Democrat support.

There are other Democrats who are up for election this November in solidly pro-life states, but they have voted consistently pro-abortion every time.  Claire McCaskill in Missouri, Sherrod Brown in Ohio and Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota are extremely vulnerable this election year.  All three are completely out of step with their states on abortion. This November these three seats could be flipped if pro-lifers use the issue to target them.

In other states, abortion is a 50/50 issue, but pro-lifers could turn out if they were more heavily targeted.  Bill Nelson is in deep trouble, but he will be re-elected if pro-life voters listen to diatribes by Rand Paul and Matt Walsh about how both parties are the same when it comes to abortion.  Both parties are not the same.  Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins don’t represent Republicans on abortion anymore than Joe Donnelly represents the Left.  It can be a winning issue for Republicans.  We saw that when millions turned out to keep the Supreme Court from being formed by Hillary Clinton.

Narratives crumble on eventful Tuesday

First let’s talk about media censorship.  As we’ve documented, reporters like CNN’s Jim Acosta went crazy when Trump suggested Fake News was the enemy of the people.  Over 200 newspapers wrote coordinated editorials attacking Trump based on the narrative that he was anti-Press.  But in West Virginia, Trump shot down that narrative by going after social media censors.  “I would rather have fake news than have anybody — including liberals, socialists, anything –than have anybody stopped and censored,” Trump said.  He added warnings about the dangers of censoring opposing viewpoints.

Trump makes statement opposing censorship of any viewpoints, including liberals

The Left is frothing at the mouth over convictions of Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen.  But there’s very little chance it will amount to anything.  The media also seems to be confused into thinking that paying people for non-disclosure agreements of affairs is somehow illegal.  What was illegal was Cohen submitting the payoff to one of Trump’s companies as some sort of expense reimbursement.  For investigators to even begin to think they have a crime to charge Trump with, they have to get evidence beyond Cohen’s unreliable testimony.  But beyond that, Trump can’t be indicted.  He can only be impeached if evidence of criminal activity can be proven.  An impeachment vote won’t pass with the current House makeup and even after November there is no way the Senate will have 75 yes votes on impeachment.

But more importantly, the Russian collusion narrative is once again proven to be dead.  Manafort’s convictions are all for pre-Trump campaign financial crimes that have nothing to do with Trump.  Despite Cohen’s willingness to sing like a bird to Mueller, he had nothing to offer when it comes to Russia.  These two were literally the best hope Mueller had of ever having anything on Trump when it comes to Russia.  Both flipped.  Neither one had anything to offer.  There was no Russian collusion with Trump.

Trump could be in political trouble, but won’t be impeached

In another Russia related story that the media is dutifully ignoring, Rick Scott announced Tuesday that the Department of Homeland Security and FBI informed him that there is no evidence that Russia has infiltrated the Florida election system.  This was a wild and baseless claim made by his opponent Sen. Bill Nelson.  Nelson provided no evidence for the claims, but seemed to be indicating that it was classified.  After being called out on his claim by even the Washington Post, Nelson got quiet but hasn’t apologized for lying.

DHS and FBI confirm Bill Nelson lied about Russian meddling in Florida

Did Bill Nelson lie or break the law?

Rick Scott hit Bill Nelson on Facebook Friday for his unverified claims that Russia has infiltrated Florida’s election system.  Nelson claimed that the Russians had hacked Florida’s election system, but did not cite any actual evidence for the claim.  When pressed, Nelson stated that it was classified.

According to Gov. Scott, Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner sent a letter to the US Senate Intelligence Committee asking for more information.  None has been provided.  Nelson claimed that the Trump administration is withholding information but still has no evidence for his salacious claim.  How Nelson even came across the supposed information is also unclear.  Nelson is in the toughest race of his life after 18 years in the Senate.

If the Russians have in fact compromised the Florida election system, then the intelligence community has a duty to disclose that information to the governor of Florida and the appropriate state officials.  If Nelson’s unverified claims have any merit, the government has a responsibility to help Florida identify the compromised areas and protect the voters of the state.

Bill Nelson is either lying or illegally releasing classified information in a press conference to meddle with the election.  Either way, his attempt to scare voters into thinking Russia is coming in on Gov. Scott’s side is backfiring.  Whether the 75 year old Democrat Senator is making stuff up or compromising national security for political gain, it’s a lose-lose for Nelson.
